SKILLS
I bring a strong visual aesthetic to my work and have developed the ability to cut countless hours of material into cohesive, well structured programmes. I’ve never subscribed to the practice of being pigeonholed and am equally at home cutting film trailers as I am feature documentaries and everything in between. I like to choose my projects carefully because I invest so much energy and passion to ensure each film is the best it can be.
A number of films I have worked on have received awards including a BAFTA for ‘Into The Storm’, RTS award for ‘Fight The Power’ and I have been nominated twice for a RTS craft and design award.
INTERESTS
I would describe myself as an ‘all or nothing’ person, I’ve never seen the point of doing something in a half arsed fashion. Music captivated me at a young age and from the age of 11 I’ve been a record collector. I have an extensive reggae collection (1950 - 1989), a few crates of northern soul sevens and in recent years have turned my attention to more aggressive styles. Other interests pursued to an obsessive degree include: Asian cinema, tattoos, cycling and modern low brow art.
